Anyone know anything about Holbrook?

I had a two hour interview at the Holbrook Public Library this afternoon. I've never had such a long interview and it felt more like a staff meeting. Is this an indication of how well I fit in that library ( Read more... )

All right so I'm a little behind the ball and a little sketch, but don't mind me. Erin asked me for some feedback about Holbrook last week sometime.

Best person to ask about this is an acquaintance of ours from high school, Melissa (sheisabeauty), since she grew up in Holbrook and, I believe, worked at the library for awhile. I grew up the next town over, Randolph.

Holbrook is a very very very small town. Very small. There really isn't a whole lot going on in it, other than the fact that it's next to a couple of other interesting towns (Braintree has the South Shore Plaza, among other exciting adventures). However, it's not such a bad little town. The library is in the center of town (yep, that's really the center of Holbrook). I never really thought much of Holbrook--I mostly just drove through it on my way from my mother's in Randolph to my father's in Weymouth.

Also, I don't know who told you that there is a red line T stop in Holbrook, because there isn't one. The Red Line ends in Braintree. There is a commuter rail stop that is on the border between Holbrook and Randolph.

Good luck! If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
