No school!! Wait.. Should I be happy that there is no school, or worried? Perhaps this is only a hint of whats to come this school year? Oh well. It came one hell of a rain last night. The lightning and thunder woke me up around 6:30 this morning. I managed to go back to sleep, got back up at 7:15 to get ready, went downstairs to wait for Tara to come and get me, when my aunt, who is a Teacher, called and said there wasn't any school. This all went down about 7:40. So I call Andrea and we called Mrs. Harless to see what was going to happen with the football game. She just called me and said that the football game was still on and for everyone to be at the high school at 4:00. So, there ya go.
I was in a cranky mood this morning. First I get all ready for school and it ends up being cancelled. I have a difficult time going back to bed after I am already up, so that didn't work out. I got on the internet and got stressed because I was talking to like 10 people and trying to play Canasta at the same time, plus my sinus's are draining from where we marched outside yesterday. It sucks. I feel a little better now though, so I'll deal.
I hope we do good tonight. I know that a lot of the new kids are going to be intimdated because of Lawrence Co.'s band, but this will be a good experience for them. Maybe they will all learn something tonight and won't make the same mistakes at our first competition. I want to see the line up for the first competition so bad.. I would like to know who we are going up against. I have good feelings this year. If we play our cards right, we can get 1st place this year. It's going to be great. (I hope)
I'm still not sure who is going to take me to the high school if my mom isn't home from work yet. I'll deal with that later.
