Newbie and Fic offering

I'm new, obviously. I'm saddened this place kinda died, but maybe a fic offering will help?
I have a bad habit of getting into really awesome shows after they've been cancelled so I never have an opportunity to really rail and cry with all the fans about something as awesome as this show leaving. But know I'm with you guys and feeling it most poignantly.
So I said I have a fic to offer, and here it is:
