MountainCon is this weekend o_O!
Sounds like Dave Proust (VADER!) and Chase Masterson are the major guests of honor this year, along with the usual smattering of second-string character actors from Trek and Babylon 5.
I might have to go see what the crowd (*snerk*) looks like.

The event (over now) included Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), Garrett Wang (Ensign Kim), Felix Silla (Twiki), BarBara Luna (the "Captain's woman" Marlena Moreau from "Mirror, Mirror"), Diana Pharaoh Francis (fantasy author) and Cynthia Cummens (Star Wars artist). Comic book artists were also in attendance, although their names escape me right now.
In addition to the stars, authors and artists, there were panels of all types (including "Starfleet Academy" from StarFest), filkers, a costume contest, a Banquet with the Stars (including photo), KidCon (kids-only programming) and gaming of all types.
Mountain-Con is much more than a "media only" convention. Although the logo says "Science Fiction Celebration" it truly is more of a "Fandom Celebration". Whatever and however you celebrate your fandom, Mountain-Con tries to represent it.
