Assassin's Creed à la Harvest Moon?

Everyone knows Altaïr from Assassin's Creed: a serious-business type of guy who scales historical landmarks just as easily as he slides daggers between people's ribs. How many people now harbour fond memories of pushing Templars off of tall buildings?

And now I hear there is a new game in the works. Trading up the Holy Land for Renaissance Italy! Speaking of the new protagonist, Patrice Desilets says:  "You can see that he is good at running... but he's good at running from fathers of really good-looking girls rather than running from guards because he killed someone."

Alright, time to pick up some Italian ladies! Still, it'd be unfair to say Altaïr didn't have a way with women. I mean, he even had the "Gentle Grope" move. Or was that supposed to be the "Gentle Push"?

Anyway, I hope the new one will feature that same charming mix of twisted-up history and subtle attention to detail. What, de Sablé didn't die at Arsuf? Who cares, Richard had a French accent!
