House and other nonsense
House! Wilson! Stop being so terribly sad and completely adorable at the same time. I can't take it anymore I tell you. Oh shit, Wilson's face when House apologized, and then at the end when he discovered that House didn't have to do it, was so priceless. And House even looked kind of squishy over it at the end. Eeee!
After House's bullshit with forging Wilson's signature and their tension over dealing with the Tritter fallout, I was half afraid they were going to break up and yet also kind of hoping for it. But in the end, it looks like they might be as okay as those two tards are ever going to be, and I'm happy about that.
I am so fucking overjoyed at the end of Tritter. It was pretty awesome at first, but he was such an ass that before long I didn't feel any more of the sympathy for him that I did initially. I mean, House is an asshole and an addict in a position which could be really dangerous, and Tritter hasn't known House long enough to have any reason whatsoever to trust his competency. But he really went over the line, especially by fucking with the other people around House.
The case was pretty depressing and horrifying this time around. Given the nature of the show, they always tend to be fairly serious and brutal, but man. That sort of mental tampering strikes me as incredibly terrible in any case, and to know that in the end it wasn't actually necessary left me with a worse feeling than maybe any other case. Poor bastard.
Well, the new semester is starting. This should be my last, and I've got pretty much nothing but huge projects to work on, so I'm kind of terrified. I swear, brain, this is not the time for a nervous breakdown so don't do it.
It doesn't help that as usual, I got the least stuff done when I had the most free time. We did get a huge chunk of housework done. But I'm still behind on stuff like video games and books, and have made pretty much no progress on the scanlation I'm supposed to be working on. Note to self, I also should do ficbit requests and artwork if I get a chance to make up for being a lazy fandom skank over winter break.
Also, I watched the entire first season of Dexter and...wow. This is one of the best television series ever. I must confess I'm a sucker for serial killer stuff in general, but the writing and performances blew me away. I've got some thoughts brewing about it that I want to post, but I'm still thinking it over.
