Home at last

We got in late Thursday night and pretty much vegged all day Friday. I went out house hunting with abodnar on Saturday and made it to lucyloveslave and quadline's son, Jack's, birthday party on Sunday.

We brought back a gorgeous piece of fresh smoke salmon from Pike's Place Fish Market but my tummy has been feeling so puny that I haven't been able to eat too much of it, not that cheferos is complaining. He's throwing himself at it admirably.

I've been taking it easy today. I caught up on the two blogs I write and ran the dishwasher but that's about it. The rest of the week is going to be busy so I wanted to catch up while I could. I have library and cake club tomorrow and Thursday I have beading class. I've been appointed as the Vice President for the Cake Club. Our big show is coming up on the 24th and somehow I need to find the time to figure out my two entries. The good news is that I'll be in charge of the website. The bad news is that I'll be in charge of the website. It's so ugly. Sooo very ugly!

Anyway, I am alive and well, just tired. We have purchased tickets to return to Washington in May to help clear the family house for sale. That makes me pretty sad. It's a big, beautiful farmhouse that's been in the family for many years. Unfortunately no one in the family is willing to live out there. It's too bad because it would make a great B&B and with all the wineries around it could be successful.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers while we were away.
