Have a Holly-Jolly

Dec 21, 2006 15:56

ITs been a rough week.

Three big blows, three steps forward, and now its time to spread some of that ole yuuule tide.

I want to be around as many people as possible this year, because for the first time in a while, I actually feel pretty good about the whole holiday thing. So instead of staying home with a Swiss Chalet Festive Special and "A Christmas Carol" on Christmas Day, which was my original intention, I'm heading off to the "Shwa" to a huuuge family party. They've got a 30 pound bird that barely fits in the oven! Get to see my Nanny, a bunch of pretty hilarious cousins and second baby-cousins, and even my paraniod-obsessive crazy Aunt Carolyn. She's the worst man, puts a damper on EVERY occasion (has to be one in every family right?) however, my one Uncle owns a vineyard so I'm sure the juice will be flowing..thank god.

Also get to go to Poland on Christmas Eve, where we'll eat like 4 courses of fish, every type of perogie known to man, and my most favourite, the yummiest mushroom soup in the world. I got my Dad an awesome DVD with Laurel & Hardy, Abbott and Costello, and The Three Stooges. I think he'll love it. I was born and raised to love those Classic Comedy Duos (and Trios).

And I'd LIKE to come see you: Emma Brandon Caeryn and ma babies on Christmas Eve in the morning with Julia so let me know if its okay! I wanna see ma little god-babies on Christmas!! Awwwwwe, ma little poopers.. :)

Should be a nice holiday anyhow, but it would be most incomplete without spending some quality time with you all, my friends. So I'm hoping everyone will make time to stop-by my XMAS BENDER 2006 again this year! I had originally planned on having it on Thursday the 28th, but I think I might reschedule for Friday because Julia can't make it on Thursday, and I know a few of you are still working, Mikey has a show...etc.

Anyhoo please let me know. I'd love to see you all at some point or another over the holidays. I know my place is small, but I don't plan on re-inacting my retarted birthday bash with Penny. I'd like to keep it quaint...and saucy.

Thursday or Friday?

See you soon and have the veryiest, merryiest Christmas in town!
