This was the beaten path
where I’ve left my footsteps.
This was the rest stop
that I've gotten used to.
The road broadens
and I’ve to thread on again.
The accumulation of time
Reminded me to look ahead.
The future replaces the past.
The new replaces the old.
See how the world has put on a new face.
