christmas and new year and disney HUZZAH
merry belated christmas and a happy new year, f-list <33333 i hope your new years started well :) if not, then i hope the rest of the year will grow brighter for you.
on the 1st i restarted my photo-a-day blog, at goldendaydreams :B i encourage everyone to start one; it's fun going back through them and seeing what you've done.
my christmas was good~ we didn't see any family, just stayed together, and it was nice and slow. my brother (turning 15 this year) woke us up at 4am to open presents @_@ so i stumbled downstairs, grabbed the minnie sticking out of my stocking and sat there with a ._. face whilst cuddling her. didn't realise until an hour later what i was actually hugging. i hadn't gone to bed until 3am, making mum's card.
it's not very good (i seriously could not get ohkura to look like ohkura so i just... made him... lying.... down... /cry). i also do not know why hina and subaru are so angry over subaru's wrapping. from left to right: ohkura, maru, ryo, hina, subaru, yasu (with a bow in his hair because) and yoko. i also do not know why hina has an apron on.
(christmas lunch. we get wine glasses for our orange juice because we're cool)
i got a hell of a lot of presents, which i love <3 i always get horribly spoilt on christmas, and even though my family haven't been doing too great with the money situation, they still managed. here are a few:
(it was a very disney christmas for me~ the minnie is bigger than mickey, and i got jessie for christmas; woody was my birthday gift)
new years wasn't so great; i had a huge headache and had to go to bed early xD so i missed out on the fireworks/counting down, which is annoying.
i went to the doctor today (because i've had a headache constantly for the past few weeks) and he told me that my headache is not that bad and to basically shut the fuck up and stop whining. he did not give a shit, and prescribed me these tablets - he didn't even tell me what they were for or when to take them, the pharmacist had to explain all that. i have new headache tablets that are going to make me even drowsier than before (ugh ><) and these little pills that i have to take every night that are meant to prevent the headaches but will also make me drowsy. apparently i've had them before and i can't remember correctly but i think they're the ones that made me sick, too. oh the joys of my life /sob xD well, we'll see, and hopefully they'll work.
i went to see frozen twice :D i wrote about getting those advanced tickets, but never wrote about the film. it was amazing, oh my god. i love it so much, and so do my family. i won't write much more about it, cause i hate spoilers more than anything and don't want to spoil anyone, but kjgndslkajnfglskdfgdf characters \o/ music \o/ animation \o/ (/screams lyrics to let it go/) i urge you to see it. i know theres' a lot of shit going down about it especially on tumblr, but i strongly believe that you need to see something to make a proper judgement of it. ALSO I GOT CUPS. HOW COOL IS THE CASTLE ON TOP OF THAT SECOND ONE also lol at how both mickeys seem to be looking at them.
i also went to see the lion king broadway show again :D it... wasn't as good as the first time. i did, however, get a hyena all up in my face, which was a little terrifying. and one of the singer ladies sung to me. the man sitting next to mum hadn't seen the movie in ages, so he couldn't remember what happened. the whole stampede sequence was filled with small little gasps and 'oh no''s; when mufasa climbs up the cliff-face he gasped so loud that his girlfriend hit him XD and he just went '/no/' when he realised what was gonna happen xD and then scar reappeared at some point, i can't remember when, and he just muttered 'scar' under his breath, omg it was so cute xD timon broke his microphone at one point and near the end with the fight sequence between scar and simba something happened and they had to close the curtain for a few minutes - we saw simba leap onto ~pride rock~ and get yanked back by what we think was the harness thingy. 'we' being mum and the people around us. i was annoyed at the woman playing nala, because she was just... not right. nala is my favourite, but she butchered her character. scar was amazing, as were zazu and timon, and little nala and simba were adorable and teeny.
(mum bought these for me <3 the other two are mask/ornament things which are gorgeous ugh <33 and i got a lot of stares from random passers-by cause i was carrying simba around in the city xD; the closer to the pavillion we got, the more compliments he got)
and i made another dragon! his name is spike and i did not name him. he was a christmas present for a friend cause i'm cheap and have seven bucks to my name atm :D i do love him though, he's quite precious. for some reason my camera picked up random cracks in his paint that you otherwise can't see, so ignore that. it was my first time making something like this (all my other dragons are lying down/are less comical, i guess?) so i'm rather proud. i didn't want to give him up xD; also i've never made paws before, but they turned out okay.
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd i think that's it for me! not much (read: any) fandom flail though. tomorrow we're getting two new korean boys staying with us, so that'll be interesting. we're also painting the house haahahahsfngfajnflbdfhahf wish me luck~
