I bought my first
carbon offsets today. What a rip-off. I hope it helps. Gotta fix up this planet, and flying around for interviews isn't helping.
Gotta fix myself up, too. I tucked into the NP's for the gynecological exam she's always pestering me to get, plus another vaccine. Still clean & healthy, of course, and still don't do self exams, of course. My NP had a PA student with her, so I at least got to help with her education. And at least there will be no speculum for another year. Ouch.
I also had my body composition checked, since I have been working out less now that I'm busy every second of the day. My stats are not as good as they could be.
height: 64 inches / 162 cm
weight: 114.5 lbs / 52 kg
body mass index: 19.7 kg/m2
basal metabolic rate: 5635 kJ / 1347 kcal
bioelectrical impedance: 582 ohms
fat mass: 20.5 lbs / 9 kg [18%]
fat-free mass: 94.0 lbs / 45 kg [82%]
total body water: 69.0 lbs / 31 kg [60%]
I always wonder if there's a way to subtract breast tissue to get a more accurate reading. I suppose that's up to me. Shouldn't I be more than 60% water, though? Probably dehydrated from pouring bloodsweat&tears into my stupid application essays. I'm done with all but two schools (eight essays) right now, and I'm aiming to finish by the end of this week.
