Winter break has been good to me. I didn't work on much of my mental backlog, but I'd say in I'm doing well anyway. I got to see Pacific, Brenda, and Khivan. I hugged my parents and sister. Bean and I even talked a little bit. I came out to my grandma, knitted another scarf, and got some sleep. I read a lot, but not as much as I wanted to. I worked out, but not as much as I wanted to. I ran a lot of errands, visited my neighbors, celebrated my parents' birthdays, saw The Incredibles, The Motorcycle Diaries, and Finding Neverland, and won a handmade
Mervin snowboard. I also went to the chiropractor twice, which has helped a great deal. Good show, for three weeks in Portland.
I'm going to miss home when I leave again, but I suppose I'm ready to return to the land of the frigid. Ha. I hope to sashay around Boston a bit more than usual this semester. I think I'll be taking Stem Cells (COOL!), Molecular Genetics (with my lab PI), Anthropological Inquiry (oof, but I have to for the anth major), and Physics Lab version 2.0 (see note for Inquiry; substitute "bio" for "anth"). I'll also take Physics Two or a T. King class or something, plus rugby plus
lab job plus
Public Safety job plus
Trisk plus Party Squad antics. Should be fun in a deranged sort of way. I hope my father didn't freak out when he came into my room this morning to ask me to make pancakes and I was browsing the
Trans-Health ezine. Guess I'd better go make those pancakes (and stop linking every other word I type).
