I just got back from my interview for a job in the Lovett lab in Rosenstiel. It should fit my schedule perfectly and give me the experience I need, so I hope I get it. I looked at all the labs listed on Brandeis's bio website, and this one's my top choice. I think the interview went swimmingly, from him telling me how awesome I look on paper to the handshake at the end. What with that and the fact that the man who interviewed me was wearing a Provincetown t-shirt, I think I stand a good chance. :]
My schedule is solidifying, but not quite in the way I'd imagined. I guess I'd rather have lab at night with Mainer as my lab partner than primetime lab without Mainer, so that's okay. I've got lots of study time and I've definitely been using it. We've got the rugby schedule all straightened out, too. I think I can coast for a little while here. Maybe get back to sorting through my head (after I balance my bank stuff and clean up my desk) pretty soon.
