I did the helpless handwaving and gasping and 'Oh John' (and possibly simultaneously 'Oh Rodney' too) thing here.

Lorne understands that he’s saying ‘of course we will’ and somehow thinks that maybe the Major even understands something that only Sheppard, Teyla and Ronon would normally hear; the words ‘I really need you to believe that we will, so that I can believe it’.

I may love Lorne, just a little, here.

Lorne cocks his head slightly to one side and frowns. “I prefer to think of it as borrowing.”

Oh Lorne. I may love you a lot right now! *g*

AWWWWWWWWWWWW! Also. I'm going to admit. I didn't actually like Rodney up until this point. Well, either didn't like him, or maybe thought he was just a bit off. Either, wasn't a fan. This? Is Rodney. *g*

LoL, I'm glad you like Rodney now and also Lorne, as they both play a really large part in this story. Mainly Rodney, obviously, as it's from his POV, but, yeah, both of them.

You promised me that I'd find out what Elizabeth done, and that she had her reasons, but I don't know if I can watch!?!

I wasn't sure I was going to like this solly from Rodney's pov, but so far I'm loving it. I love how hard he tries to not get attached to John and how that just isn't going to happen.

I'm very eager to find out what went down between Lorne and Elizabeth. I'd write more about how I'm loving this, but I need to go read some more......

Neither was I, to be honest! I wasn't sure I'd have enough to write about from his PoV without just doing his side of the snippets I'd already written, but I felt it needed to be his story.

I know, I really do need to write Elizabeth's stry, because she comes off as a bit of a 'bad guy' in this and I really want to show that it's not without reason. I intend to write hers soon.

I like how you have written John as a child, but also as himself.
