Inoue Mao the Tax Collector
Inoue Mao stars in "Tokkan" as a tax collector who is placed in a specialized tax team who take part in seizures of assets. While this isn't really something I would normally watch, I'm actually particularly interested in the comedic side to this drama.
I majored in accounting in college and I even have a master's degree, but tax collecting is totally different than anything I've done. I've done people's income taxes, but the content of this show is entirely new to me.
I have to say that the first episode started out pretty funny. I hope to see more of that. And can I just add that Mao-chan looks adorable in a suit! She will always look positively young and radiant. I think if she were to do another drama in the future, I would like to see her as a teacher or some other salary type occupation.
So far, the character Mao-chan plays, Suzimiya Miki is not very confident. She's a pretty weak and shy character at the moment. I hope to see good character development in Miki as well as her stoic and cold partner.
