a special shower just for my bike!

Well my apt allows no hoses, which I don't like 'cause I like washing my bike (maybe like it a little too much). And Stephen and I were at the pool yesterday, and talked turned to kayaking in it (after, or maybe before, we discussed motorcycling in it). Anyways, it came down to washing the kayak in the "shower before entering pool" shower. You know, so it's a clean kayak, cause sand in pools is bad. And this got me thinking... I wonder how big the shower area is, and if I could get a decent angle to spray off my mtn bike! So I checked it on the way out. And it has a handicap side! (probably to go with the handicap ramp into the pool and the cranes to get people in and out -- but that ramp figures in the discussion on motorcycles in the pool so I will leave it for now). And that side's shower head is basically a hose... and it gets a decent water spray and angle. So I might have to try that for my bike at some point.

Oh and we checked the sign on the way out. No surf or boogie boards, but doesn't say anything about boats (or bikes)! I wonder how long til we lose pool visitation rights...
