How sweet!
We had a great thing happen today at work. Kellie sent out an email:
Shhhh……this is a surprise and she knows nothing about it. I wanted you all to know that today, Dawn’s boyfriend; Kamron will be coming into the office (sometime before or around noon) with a ring to ask Dawn for her hand in marriage. I think he will be bringing something (refreshments, maybe) to help celebrate the occasion.
I just wanted to let everyone know in case you will be out of the office or wanted to be here to see the event!!!! Exciting for her.
So Kamron came in with a dozen cupcakes from Sprinkles. He told Dawn that he brought them for everyone, but he got her a special one, and handed her a single cupcake box. Dawn commented "You must've been bored!" and set the box to the side. He prodded her to open it, and she said she wasn't hungry for one right now. He opened the box for her, and handed it to her, while asking "Will you marry me?" She pretty much stopped breathing, and nearly fainted poor thing. She's four months pregnant, and they've been together for a couple of years. He was getting all teary eyed too.
It was my first time witnessing a proposal. I'm so happy for her!
