Touchdown! Gooooaaaallll!

I'm in Grove City, and with my wonderful man lover. After a very rough plane trip and a flight attendant that almost made me cry, I finally got here.

The trees are huge and tall and green and everywhere, and I wish that I could grow giant just for a little so I could hug the tops of them like I'd hug Pogo and his fluff. The park is gigantic, with gazebos and bridges and a pond with a fountain and fish. I can't wait to start taking pictures.

There's so much history here. And I know there was in CA, but it was all the same history, from the same time, with the same people - ranchers, gold diggers, moving west, Chumash, missions, etc. It was all very interesting, but after doing nothing but that kind of thing for all of elementary, it gets old quick. But here - they've got all the stuff from settling here, the wars, a bunch of different eras and things stretching up until now. Instead of starting from the 1840s (Gold Rushy times, rite?), it's gotta start around the 1600s, I bet.

The buildings are all old and beautiful, with bricks and great steps. I can't wait to go to Olde Town/downtown, and find out about this farmer's market, since we had one in CA, too. (Well, several, actually.)

There's more, but, really, I'll sum it up like this:

Imagine not breathing for four minutes.
Now imagine your heart not breathing for four years.

(Yes, your heart not breathing.)
