But before that, my mechanic friend took it to a transmission shop and they think I should replace mine. A new one's about $1500, and a used one's around $600. Why get a used one, I don't know - so that's all screwed.
Plan B is yet to be figured out.
On top of that and everything else, my dad called today.
Craftily, too - the day before Father's Day so he didn't have to face me not calling him on that day, he got to me first.
But I still didn't pick up.
