The neighbor across the street from me was kicked out for (what I was told) a whole variety of reasons, such as letting her dog run loose in the neighborhood. (That's a big no-no, that you signed an agreement not to do when you signed the lease to live here.)

Good question, actually. =P This is the third kitten I'd be saving from cold weather in the course of four years. (Kinzer was found the Sunday before Thanksgiving.)

I apparently send out an aura of "I'm a cat person!" in general, because I seem to attract cats to me at any given time of the year. Maybe when the weather gets cold, the kittens of the area think "Hey, Kyetsu loves cats, she can make us not cold anymore!"...Or something. =\
