Despite the slow beginning, it was actually REALLY GOOD. First time I've ever been to a midnight showing, and it was definitely worth it. Surprisingly, I didn't cry at all, even though I was bawling at times when I watched Part 1.

Hermione is telling the Three Brothers, Deathly Hallows story. Playing the role of “death” in this story appears to be General Grievous from Revenge of the Sith. It’s nice to see he’s still getting work.

Maybe it's a good thing I don't own the entire Series of Unfortunate Events. I'd probably spend too much time trying to do an ASoUE marathon (which I think I've done before, actually). I don't know if this is odd or anything, but I really like the pairings of both Faramir/Éowyn and Aragorn/Éowyn. This is not out of contempt for or neglect of Éowyn, who I admire deeply, as she's a strong female character who I would gladly include in my XX-chromosome role models.
