I think I actually prefer watching dramas after they've finished airing, just so I can control how much to watch at a time. I did intend to watch BBJX while it aired, but at the time, I was really not in the mood for something so depressing, and then school just got in the way, so here I am, two years later, enjoying it much more, probably, than I would have back then.
Oh, I didn't know you were peanuts! I have actually visited hui3r's site before, although I don't really read many Chinese novels, so it's not something I would really follow. And books.shushengbar.com is a really neat idea. I might start listening to audiobooks... much easier than reading, haha.
Heh, I also liked Nicky before I liked Roy, but that's only because I watched more of Nicky's dramas first. I'm quite fond of them both, but I think Roy will always be #1. But maybe if I meet Nicky one day, that will change. He seems like such a perfect gentleman. I still can't understand why his ex-wife wanted to divorce him. =_=
Yeah, I've heard people raving about Tong Hua's writing, although I haven't read any of it personally. Not sure if I'll check out DMY or YZG... probably eventually, but I still have so many dramas on my to-watch list!

Haha, are you surprised that I am the infamous peanuts, lol? Ya, audiobooks are great. I can sing their praises all day, heehee...They are really as good as the drama minus the visual only. Some readers are really professional and narrate/read very well till it can become addictive:) They also include sound effects and appropriate songs. Also, they follow the novel so no drama on butchering the novels. You can also cast whoever you want in your mind, haha...Lastly they help you to rest your eyes:P I think I can be considered a guru so tell me what kind of book you like & I'll recommend you the best book in term of storyline as well as execution:)
If Nicky has married Ada Choi, thing will be different. She has such a happy family now. I guess poor Nicky picking the wrong woman & live in regret:( Oh, Nicky & I are just not fated to meet:( Haha, I am going to write something that sound like a drama but it did happen last year to me while I was in Taipei. As you know Nicky seldom go back to Taipei as he spends most of his time filming in China. But for my short visit in Nov, he went home. I found out at night while watching TVBS of an interview he did in their studio. Coincidentally when he was recording the interview, I was across the road:( If I knew he was just a stone throw away, I would have waited from dusk till dawn for him to come out. So near, yet so far:((((

Do any audiobooks come with the text of the novel? I like being able to follow along with the words, otherwise I have a tendency to let it all become background noise. Plus it helps me keep up with learning characters. :D
Aw noooo, I feel so bad for you! DDDD: A similar thing happened to me one year when Huang Xiaoming visited Taiwan for a few days, and I didn't find out about it until the day he was going to leave. *sigh* The worst is always wondering "what could have been." :'( But maybe you will meet Nicky some other time. He does seem to be very busy with filming/interviews/events, so there's a chance you'll cross paths with him some day. Unlike Roy, who completely drops off the media's radar when he's not promoting stuff, lol. But I think that's part of the reason I'm so fond of him.

The audiobooks follow the novels nearly words for words so you can have the ebooks in front of you while you are listening. I highly recommend you 且试天下 (Who Gets the World) by 倾泠月. It is the best audiobook in term of production as well as storyline. It is part wuxia, part palace/war. It is something like a Jin Yong's novels. The difference is less emphasis on wuxia & a more well-balance couple as the female & male leads are equally strong. Their relationship is rather ambigious but definitely better than Jin Yong's fickle-minded males. Anyway, do give it a go when you've time as it is my fav book:)
Didn't you meet HXM when he was in US? I also missed seeing Lee Min Ho, a popular Korean actor when he was here. I only found out he was here a day after he has gone & I live near the airport:( I think Nicky & I are fated not to meet. Since he is filming in Tianjin now, I though maybe I'll get to meet him as I'll be going there in June. However because of the bird flu, my trip is cancelled:(
Btw, are you watching anything at the moment? I am crazy about Female Prime Minister. The first 9 episodes are good. The OTP has awesome chemistry and the story is unfolding at a good pace. Btw it is a Yumama's drama but luckily he didn't write the script.

且试天下 sounds pretty interesting -- thanks for the recommendation! :) I'll definitely give it a try when I get the chance.
Unfortunately, I did not get to see HXM, since he was in New York, and I'm stuck on the West Coast. If he'd flown to San Francisco, I would have definitely gone to see him, but alas, I'm a broke college student and can't fly across the country just to see a celebrity. lol. And aww, bummer about the bird flu. :(
I finished marathoning Drama Go Go Go a little while earlier, but am not currently watching anything, since this summer looks like it's gonna be craaazy and I can't afford to get addicted to anything. I do want to check out Female Prime Minister, though, if only for Chen Xiao. :D Glad you're enjoying it! :)
