Finished In Time With You, now rewatching ROCH '06
Now that school is over, I'm back to watching dramas. The past few days I marathoned In Time With You, which has jumped to the top of my favorite twdrama list (sorry, Wish to See You Again, I still really like you, but you did drag at points) and will probably stay there because none of the upcoming twdramas seem even close to as superb as ITWY was.
More importantly, I've decided to rewatch Return of the Condor Heroes 2006. The last time I saw this was when it aired on the local Chinese channel five years ago, so my memory of it is pretty fuzzy. Except that Huang Xiaoming and Crystal Liu Yifei are freakin' gorgeous.
I was surprised to discover that I can actually keep up with the dialogue without having to look up every other sentence, which sometimes happens with me when it comes to wuxia dramas. Then again, the plot right now (I've only watched the first five eps so far) isn't all that complicated. The important thing is the eyecandy. Cue gratuitous fanservice shots:
I was hoping that someone would have gifs of them practicing kung fu, but I guess a video will work too. It doesn't even look like they're doing kung fu... more like dancing. The prettiness starts around the 2min mark.
Say what you will about Zhang Jizhong's choices in CGI, but you can't deny that his cinematography is unparalleled.
