The best thing about Fall In Love is its ending theme

I decided to check out the currently airing Fall In Love (一不小心愛上你), probably more widely known as "the mainland China remake of Autumn In My Heart." When I first heard about this drama, I had absolutely no interest in it, since I'm not a big fan of siblingcest (even siblingcest that turns out not to be siblingcest), and I haven't seen enough of Meteor Shower to start fangirling Zhang Han. The lead girl, Jiang Kaitong, is very pretty, but that's not enough to make me watch a drama.

And then I watched this.

This is the ending theme for Fall In Love, called "Can Que," which can be either translated as "Incomplete" or "Fragmented," whichever you think sounds better. It's sung by Li Wei, the champion of Super Boys 2010, a singing competition organized by HunanTV. This song is just beautiful, both musically and lyrically. I mean, how can you not love these lines:

Love always wants to become complete again愛總想復原The perfect picture is already incomplete/fragmented     完美畫面已殘缺Like a silent film, performing in loneliness如無聲的影片落寞中去上演
The opening theme, sung by main actor Zhang Han and Super Girl Vivi Jiang Yingrong, is quite beautiful too, although it doesn't quite grab me in the same way. For someone who's not a singer, though, Zhang Han has a rather pleasant voice.

Anyway, I was going to continue watching this throughout the first few weeks of school, since it's pretty short, but then Baron Chen's new drama just came out (expect a post on that soon), so this is probably going to fall by the wayside a little.....
