Yay for another update!
Yay for another update from Texas! Talk about keeping up on the stuff going on :0)
Life's crazy here. I'm still getting used to the orientation groove and the people that I'm working with. So far, everyone is very nice and welcoming but there have been a few doubts in my mind about if people do/do not like me. I know this happens wherever anyone goes but it's seems so lonely here because no one really knows me. I will try to keep a positive attitude and stay happy because it's the only way I'm going to make it through the summer.
This heat here is crazy. It's above 100 degrees every day here and there's some nasty humidity. I've learned that this weather is normal for Texas and to stay in the air conditioning. Trust me I am! I have given up on drying my hair in the morning because once you walk outside, it's like an automatic hair dryer. So much for trying to look good but I have no one to impress. *sigh* I didn't realize how much I missed "him" even though there was really never anything official. Oy! I'm a damn mess or as Lis would say a hot mess
Alright, only a few more students to register then I can go shopping to get an outfit for the wedding and then go the hell to bed. I'm so tired and I feel like shit.. I think I'm getting sick which totally sucks but ya know as long as I get some sleep and I think I'm going to start taking vitamins that would be great.
