General question-

Why is it that evry fandom I fall in love with apeshit? Does that say something about me as a person?

Is it also weird that I'm in Avatar fandom and I'm NOT a hardcore shipper?

Just thought I'd get that out there.

No, it doesn't say anything about you except that you like really good shows. From what I've seen, awesome show = many fans = more crazy people. There are crazy people in every fandom, but the bigger a fandom is the more crazies there are and when a lot of them get together all hell breaks loose. That's my impression anyway.

And it's not weird that you're not a hardcore shipper. In fact, it probably makes you one of the most normal people in the fandom. :)

Fandom Wank answers that question. They become too obsessed and it clouds their judgment from reality. It's not one person, it's a flood of them which ruins the parade.
