But I don't see how revenge is going to do anything but fail to mend your bruised ego. Because that's what it is. And revenge is well and fine, but don't go trying to pretend it's some noble bullshit.
You want to protect him? Then fine, protect him. You want revenge? Fine, but at least be honest about it.

Fine. I want revenge for what happened to him, but I also want to make the person who did it think twice before doing it again!
We don't let people get away with murder back home, so I don't understand why we do it here!
