angry calls~

I was waiting for a furniture delivery today at my mom's house, but didn't hear them come. My dog didn't bark (even though he always does, more especially when people ring the doorbell because it's loud enough for him to hear even though he's going deaf), my grandma didn't come and freak out at me because someone was at the door, or anything of ( Read more... )

The story I heard was that you were awake until 5am. Grama called mommy like an hour ago or something, she was still in bed when they were knocking and she heard Buck barking, but it would've taken her too long to get up and ready to answer the door in time. I guess she thought you heard Buck.

Remember, this is just what I heard from Mommy - she brought me lunch today because she was stressed out by this. I have no way of knowing if you were asleep when they rang the bell like she said, or if you were awake like you said - granted, she wasn't there so I'm obviously inclined to believe you.

I know you don't really have anywhere to curl up, but once I leave you'll have 2 new Ikea chairs and the 2-seater couch from the set you used to have - then maybe you could set up shop out in the living or family room during the day, so you're out and about in case grama needs something, or someone is at the door?

Mommy said you were going to the mall today.....did you?? I think NOT. You should go tomorrow though. Kids are leaving their holiday jobs and going back to school, you never know what kind of position you'll find somewhere.

I was on and off asleep last night, awake when mommy went to bed, slept for maybe 2-3 hours, woke up again. =[ I honestly don't believe I was in such a deep sleep again that I don't recall it, and that I'd not hear the doorbell. Maybe gramma's not the only one with something like senility going on. (I didn't know she was still in bed when they came, since I don't know when it was exactly.)
I wouldn't mind staying out in the living room or something if gramma didn't have the tv (sometimes both of them) blaring out her springer-equivalent spanish daytime shows. If I knew which room she was staying in more often I might stay in the other, but she does move between the two a lot for some reason.
I told her I was going to the mall today, and I was planning on it before she got very pissy and was stressing me out even though there was nothing else I could do. That, and the rain was pouring down for about an hour and I didn't want to walk around/wait for the bus in that weather.
Maybe if I'm not in so much 'trouble' this weekend, I can go with Shandy to the Tacoma Mall or somewhere around there and look with her, she's searching for a job too and it would be less tedious if I/she had someone to go with (if we were going to go seperately).

Long reply... bah. I'm still in a bad mood because of it, mommy just does that to me sometimes, but I don't want to blame her for anything but driving me nuts.~
