Beware the search engines
I have been re-reading Sentinel fics. After finding Candy Apple's stories including "Outside Influences," I found works through the Cascade Library, in Wolfpup's Den, Aly's Jake Universe, Francesca's Nature Series, DL Witherspoon's series -- The Classics! My memory keeps teasing me with snippets of stories from the 90s demanding to be found and re-read in full. Crossovers are resurfacing. Wizards and Marvel superheroes have fallen to scholars, detectives, spies, military personnel and explorers. AO3 has dragged me away from Fanfiction.net.
