ISO a Harry Potter fic
In which Harry is something of a super genius and is sent by the Dursleys to a special school where he is putting his intellect to work. He learns of magic and becomes as proficient in it as he is in the sciences and even music. Not a Pretender crossover, but there are some similarities. I believe there's a scene when he comes to Hogwarts where he is brewing 5 potions at once and even Snape is impressed. I had thought I'd read it on fanfiction.net, but haven't been able to find it again. Various google searches have led no where. I seem to recall "prodigy" in the title, but that's a search bust.
But then again, with the number of HP fics I've read, I could be mashing up more than one story. But I can't seem to find any story where the Dursleys send a prodigy Harry off to school possibly for the profit it would bring them.
