“This is your idea of herbal tea?” Blair waved the yellow box of tea bags he found in groceries Jim had picked up on the way home from the station.
“It says herbal on the label.”
“This is the corporate world’s idea of how to make a buck off a public that is starting to want healthy foods.”
“So, are the hibiscus, rosehips, roasted chicory, orange peel, West Indian lemongrass, lemon peel and whole dried lemons, natural lemon flavor with other natural flavors (contains soy lecithin) and citric acid,” Jim read the box from across the room “in these teabags less healthy than the same blend you buy at that little apothecary in Chinatown? They smell almost identical to my sentinel nose. Though, I think the apothecary’s blend uses a bit more soy lecithin indicating more flavorings and less herbs. ”
Blair glared at Jim, took the box of Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger and stormed into the kitchen to put on the tea kettle.
