Non-rain related vacation post

On one of my latest excursions to Wal-Mart, I bought a 1 terabyte external hard drive. On sale for $120. 1 TB is more than the entire drive space of my desktop, my laptop and the handful of flashdrives I have scattered about.

It's a My Book Western Digital USB drive and it's about the size of a hefty paperback novel. I've already run a backup ( Read more... )

lol Thanks to my brother, I've gotten to be the same way. He built my comptuer for me and I wanted to get 2 500 Gb drives to begin with so I could have a TB before him. I had to wait but I have over a TB now. I added a 640 Gb and a 250 Gb (from my old computer) a few months ago. Sadly... sometimes I'm still afraid of running out of room! lol

And to think, a 20 Megabyte drive was HUGE at one time. I have more space on my smallest flash drive!
