SPN drabble: Aftermath
I suppose it had to happen sometime. I wrote Supernatural fic. It's only a drabble, but it's more than I've written in months.

The antiseptic smell screamed "hospital" as did the stern voice of a nurse saying visiting hours were over. Dean knew that he was still alive when the pain made itself know with the tiniest movement. He was grateful for the morphine the nurse added to his IV, but the physical pain was nothing compared to Dean's self-condemnation for torturing Alastair. Dean couldn't accept Castiel's misplaced faith in him after all he'd learned and closed his eyes to shut him out. Dean blamed the comforting sensation of being held in strong arms and enfolded in an angel's wings on the drugs.
