Siren:
I was gratified to see that all was not forgiven in the Kent household. It was nice that all of the arguments hadn't been glossed over. I was so hoping to see Clark tell her to hit the road. Though I'm glad that Clark got off his self-righteous high horse, I wasn't happy that he did it for Lana.
That Lana only told Clark what she'd done because Lionel forced the issue, was very typical of her. She didn't admit her sins until she had to.
If Clark absolutely has to be with a character other than Lex, he should be with Chloe. But the Clex is only going to happen in subtext and fanfic. Chloe's never going to get the respect she deserves, unless it's from someone outside of Smallville/Metropolis.
I was happy that Lois turned Oliver away (he was smoking hot, BTW) in the end. It was bittersweet that she couldn't handle the dual identity/the world needs you more than me issues and then turned to Clark for a friendly shoulder.
Black Canary's appearance was not bad. I would have preferred if she was wearing a wig, it was a blonde one for Canary and not the dark one for Dinah. But I can see that it was more practical for her to have the short hair as Canary. The special effects for the "canary call" being subsonic were great. Sub-sonics can be deadly.
Having Dinah go after Oliver was priceless. They are meant for one another and this "meet cute/violent" fit.
Lex just can't get any respect any more, either. I'm looking so forward to the day he really goes after world domination. If he doesn't already have one, I'll provide him with a list of people to put against the wall when the revolution comes. He needs to hunt down Alexander's greenK ring and hire Hope and Mercy.
And Lionel's on that list. The man is a snake. John Glover's performance is superb for the material he has. Someone needs to check the scenery for toothmarks.
Dream a Little Dream:
There was so much said and done in their dreams.
Dean admitted that Bobby is a father figure. He's not ready to die and go to Hell. He really wanted Ben to be his son. He really has mixed feelings about his life. But don't fuck with Sam or he'll take you down.
Sam was a bit murkier. Even before they took the dream root, he was making happy noises in his sleep about Bela. Sam's not as innocent as Dean might think. He kept walking away from Dean to go his own way hunting. He took out the bad guy and didn't hesitate to use the bad guy's methods. And he glossed over how he'd done it. I'm worried about Sam.
Bobby has secrets.
Bela's still a bitch.
