Back from barbequeing in the country
Was up at 5:45 getting everything ready. Left home at 7:15 am. Got back at 7:30 pm. I'm exhausted.
We cooked over 100 pounds of pork (Boston butts, ribs, hot dogs and sausage), 6 whole chickens; and many, many hamburgers.
There was green salad, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, chips of all sorts, sodas, water, coffee, tea....
Yes, we were feeding an army -- my mom's side of the family.
We were celebrating two of the kids' high school graduation and Memorial Day.
I have a tiny bit of sunburn on my face and forearms (short sleeved shirt). It was a beautiful day, but I keep hoping it will rain. There's a bit of a drought in the area.
