We shall see if this "storm" is all its press claims it's going to be.

I'm a "show me" kind of girl.

We had one ripe through the New Orleans area last night. The news hyped it up to be really bad. It was mostly rain. :(

Let's see if the weather brings it. :)

If you're bored, I have the newest installment of my WIP on my lj.

Yay! A WIP! Mom had 3 or 4 inches of snow in Tennessee. We've had rain since early morning. It's just starting to turn to snow and the temp's beginng to fall.

I really shouldn't complain that its cold, then. I'm in Texas where its about 55 degrees, but I'm freezing.

"Cold" is a relative thing. I don't complain about the temp until it gets below 25. And I don't mind snow. I just hate the endless hype about storms that ususually don't amount to much for the DC area.

But its always entertaining to watch newscasters standing in the middle of blizzards, hurricanes, floods, etc. Usually telling us to stay indoors where its safe. ;-)

I agree with you. The hype surrounding this has been aboveboard IMO. The supermarkets are packed here. Seriously, are we going to have snow for the next forty days? And just how many of us are going to run out of food in the next couple of days.

It is snowing here but it is a light dusting.

The whole supermarket thing is crazy. The only thing I went to the market for was potato chips and dip.
