(no subject)
It's been a week since I've written in this thing, so let's see here. What is there for me to say? I can't say that I have anything majorly exciting to report. Things are just business as usual. Lots of working. Lots of rushing around. I'm thrilled to be in London, though. It's a beautiful city. They're going to have to drag me out of here. For two reasons, actually: one, because I like it, and two, there's no way in hell I'm stepping into any airport ever again. I will take a boat back if I must. Or swim, as I keep telling Carson.
Speaking of Carson, we went shopping the other day. He tried to make me buy a shirt that was more blindingly yellow than anything I've ever seen in my entire life. Seriously, if I'd bought and wore the thing, I would have been able to stop traffic. I don't look bad in yellow. A darker yellow is good on me. But knock-you-on-your-ass sunshine yellow? No. He did help me pick out some new clothes that were good, though, so don't worry, my boy's still got his touch.
So let's see, what else is there. Man, I've gotten boring, haven't I? My book tour starts on the 28th, that'll be pretty cool. Not that I haven't done a book signing tour before, but this is my first one all to myself, where all the attention will be on me. You know how much of an attention whore I am. I've got two classes to teach in December, too. This means more travelling... ugh, in a way I'll be glad when regular non-special episode filming resumes, because it'll mean I can stay in New York for a little while. I'm starting to miss my apartment.
Speaking of all this travelling, though, I haven't asked Carson... I mean, I assume he'd want to come with me, but I just realized now that I never broached the topic. I'm hesistant to ask, because his schedule will probably become filled to the brim again, too, but so far it looks almost open except for one or two things, and I'm not thrilled about the idea of doing this all alone. I'll think about asking him. That's a tough one.
Oh, yeah, a quick reminder: Thanksgiving special. November 23rd on Bravo. It's the last new thing they'll air for us until the Christmas special.
