This is going to be half assed. I'm a bit hungover - and I've kind of lost the desire to write long, thought inspiring posts. I guess for the moment - this journal just lets the people I love keep tabs on me if they so choose.

With that said - I received via e-mail my RA Training schedule. I can't wait to start, it will be so much fun. This summer has actually been going by pretty fast - it's already August on Tuesday. I have been working like crazy, and before I knew it - I was (and still am) already behind on making door decorations. Haha. I'll pull it off - I always do.

Work is work - I look like a bit of a masochist because of it, but it could always be worse. I'm going to aim for sixty hours this week (though, we'll see if I come in on Saturday). I have an appointment to pick up a new ear mold (the left one will fit even better now...or so I hope). I'm really liking my hearing aids. But - here comes the good news - next week is...MY LAST WEEK OF WORK! Then I have two weeks, to pack, get stuff boxed and eventually shipped (Marylin's just aching to get up on the wall of my room), make door decorations, spend time with the people I love here in Michigan, and have summer. I'm excited for summer. Haha.

This weekend was ridiculously fun (my weekends are my little slice of heaven these past few months). Friday, I hung out with my deaf (severely hearing impaired) friend Freddy, and we met Lucas and Freddy's deaf friend Rowan at Rumors (the one of TWO gay clubs in Grand Rapids - not bad, eh?). It was a FOAM party! Fun was had by all...and then we caught STIs. ^_~ I keed, I keed. But I had a blast - ask me about it if you'd like. Deaf people are so much fun, I love them - though Lucas felt a little lost at times - ASL is such an awesome language. I can't wait to take level three. On Saturday, I, along with Freddy, Amanda, and her co-worker and friend went to the beach. I love our beaches. I love(d) my company even more. Then we parted ways as I had to rush and get ready for the Cinemark Kids' toga party. Originally we had planned to have nametags "Hello My Name Is: ____" kinda stuff. We were all given greek gods to go as. I went as Apollo (duh). Pictures on facebook - check them out. I've actually been feeling really good about my body lately (maybe it was the wine - but I was pretty comfortable at that party dressed like that). So, don't rain on my parade - heh. If you see problem spots, chances are I already know about them - and I will be working to remedy them. (I can't wait to live close to Palladium). And today, my family and I had a wonderful thunderstorm to watch for a bit. So - it's been a nice breath of summer. The next few weeks will be amazing. And then - I'm back in NYC already. Time goes so quickly. But I welcome that this summer. Haha. I have so much to look forward too. But don't worry - I won't get too far ahead of myself. I still plan on enjoying my time here very much. That's all for now. Congrats for reading all this if you did!

Not so half assed after all. Haha.
