(no subject)
So I went out to Necto last night, it was alright but not great. The people there ranged from ugly, to fat lesbians, to sorta cute 18 year olds, and a couple good looking 20 somethings (one of whom cruised me). While there I happened to run into someone who I'd previously met at one of Andy's parties. In fact he and I have had friendly chats with a group at said parties at least a couple times. Well I saw this individual at Necto last night, so I smiled and waived at him. He gave me the dirtiest look that said, "Who the fuck are you to be waving at me?" I was taken aback at the absolute rudeness and lack of propriety that someone who I thought was rather polite and sociable demonstrated in a public setting. It's not as though I went over to him and asked if he'd bend over for me or something, I just waived to acknowledge that I saw him. Hell I didn't even intend to go over and say anything. What ever happened to the social graces?
