ARTHUR'S A CLOTPOLL! ARTHUR'S A CLOTPOLL!
I would like to ask where the neckerchiefs went. They can't take the neckerchiefs and Bradley's teeth away at the same time.
The slashiness comes so much more naturally than any of the cannon stuff; the Gwen/Arthur scenes had nowhere near as much chemistry as the Merlin/Arthur ones. Like the first one with shirtless!Arthur. Or the "honour" faces Arthur makes. Or...pretty much any of the scenes with Colin and Bradley.
Cedrics seem to end up doomed by the end of the story they're major characters in.
When Morgana woke up, she screamed almost exactly like the bird in her vision. It kinda made me laugh, even though the moment was all tense and everything.
Also, there's the issue with Merlin barging into Arthur's room on Arthur's second call. Which probably means he wasn't in Gaius's rooms. ...? ...?
And Merlin, sweetie; when grown men run screaming the other way, you don't shrug and walk towards whatever they're running from. Also, "Cedric is possessed by an evil spirit" is not a good conversation opener. And when that's answered by "Wot?", it's best not to continue on along the line of "He tried to steal the jewel, but it wasn't a jewel, it's the soul of an ancient sorceror, Sigan!"

I did laugh when the gargoyles came to life.
Gwen: *pretty and walking, pretty and walking*
gargoyle-monster: RAWR
Gwen: AhhHHH! *runs*
There's this other gargoyle-attacking civilians scene, and one of the noble knights of Camelot shoves this old guy aside so he can get in the lead of the RUNNING AWAY.
And Uther!
Lalalalala, it's not magic, it can't be magic, OMGIT'SMAGIC!!!ARTHURKILLIT!
Gaius: *is thinking "I told you so" so hard his eyebrow is about to fall off*
Jealous!Merlin, Defensive!Merlin, and Dark!Merlin, all in one episode!
So, clearly, King Uther couldn't get past the knights of Camelot to help save Arthur from the gargoyles. Gaius made some popcorn, found a back door, and snuck out to watch the wizard throwdown.
The last word of the episode was "clotpoll."
