Tonight was the final show for Assassins. If you didn't see it and are, say, a very dear friend of mine, then you may have slightly damaged my soul. This show is almost my favorite musical of all time now, and maybe the best show I've ever done (Forever Plaid being the most favorite musical and being the close second best show I've ever done). I'm just... so incredibly proud of this show... I don't know what it is. There is something so incredible about working in a cast in which you know absolutely no one, and building relationships from there, understanding and working with different schools of theatrical thought, and then there's the show itself! Oh, it's so good. Yes, I'm incredibly proud of this show. What a fantastic experience. I really hope to keep in close touch with everyone in the cast, and work with them all again if I get the chance.
I'm back in school, of course, and that means homework. Which, thanks to Assassins, I haven't done in the least. Unfortunately I've got to start again... Sociology and Theatre History are two of the most boring subjects to read in the history of the world.
I got cast in the musical down at UNLV, Carnival, and I hate to say that I'm not too excited. It's an ensemble role, the musical is your average fluff, and it's going to take up a huge amount of time...argh. I wish I could have been in The Foreigner (which is hilarious) or one of the One Acts (not a lot of work). Oh well. Hopefully I'll have a bit of fun.
I bought Burnout Revenge, and it's just as good, if not better, than the last Burnout game. So there's that.
Oh, I bought my gun from the show, so I brought it home today! I'm excited to try it out (I never got to actually shoot it in the show, because the blanks are so damn loud. Can't wait to try it out for real. Who wants to be shot at?
