It's five to nine. Do you know where your children are? No? Then shame on you.
I just got some gifts from my mom and stepdad. Not a bad set, here. I got a CD player for my car and some sweet speakers to go with it, as well as Volume 4 of the MST3K DVD Collections, which, if you remember my list, was the one I wanted the most. So far, I haven't gotten the PSP I've been asking for, but that's alright. I suppose if it came down to it, I could spend a bit of my hard-earned dough on one myself, but I'd really hate to do so. On Thursday this week I should get a paycheck in the area of 450-500 dollars. There's quite a list of things I want to do this summer, some of them costing quite a pretty penny, you know. Here's the list:
-See every movie, whether in theaters or rented, that has gotten a, "What?? You haven't seen ______??" when I tell people I haven't seen it. Such movies are Lost in Translation, Scarface, Pulp Fiction, and many others.
-Take a road trip; say to Disneyland or something fun like that. Doesn't have to be too huge or anything like that, but something would be fun. I think I'll need a vacation after a month or so at my tedious job.
-... damn. I had a list earlier, but I can't remember a lot of it right now. It's perturbing. Yep, definitely perturbed right now. Can you feel the perturbation?
I've been thinking about what to do tomorrow, and I've kind of edged out the idea of a pool party, pretty much for a single reason: I don't have a jacuzzi. A hot tub, for you laymen. I figure we could all go, like, bowling or something, down at the Sunset Station's new alleys, and then go back to my house where we can watch an MST3K or play some videogames. Whatever. I think it'd be fun. I'll call some people tomorrow morning to see what's going on, unless I can get ahold of some of you tonight. Just so you remember, we'll be celebrating my birthday, and while I don't expect gifts tomorrow, just in case you all are procrastinating, being a greedy bastard, I expect gifts nonetheless. For the final time, here is my list. And never forget, I love you.
