I should be doing so many things. Watch me avoid all of them because I'm depressed anxious too antsy to focus on anything substantial right now. I foresee a night of knitting and SUFBB/tVD and cereal
( Read more... )
I haven't started SUFBB yet! I was way behind on Vampire Diaries so that came first. (Plus, knitting complicated things is easiest when I don't have to deal with subtitles.)
YOU WILL LOVE IT SO MUCH I PROMISE. It's the best. It really is. Never over it.
Yes, that makes lots of sense about knitting--sometimes I make icons while I'm watching TV, but of course I can't do that with things that have subtitles.
No judgements here - cereal got me through college. (Along with rice and oatmeal.) And I make my own granola now but I'll eat it anytime, breakfast, lunch, snack dessert.
I hope tomorrow's a better day for you! I'm kind of in the same emotional place, in that I'm hiding from the sun, instead of either getting things done or at least properly enjoying my beach vacation, and watching endless episodes of The West Wing and feeling generally pathetic. Only now I wish I had cereal.
If you're still looking for prompts, I'd love to see: BtVS, Willow/Oz, in which they babysit Dawn together and Dawn is not impressed with their coupley-ness (for lack of a real word)
hugs and balm for your wounded heart, whatever that is, if it's cereal, then yay cereal.
I was going to prompt "Miryo as Watcher," but since I don't see a Brown Eyed Girls tag in your list, so instead: someone gets Hoya this for his birthday.
Jia was still in mourning. Well - you couldn't see it, she was only wearing a black ribbon in her hair. Tied straight, no bow.
She was still Jia.
Even if he....
She hadn't cried at the funeral. No one expected her to. There was a sense of safety in that. In being a Slayer, in having a duty, in having a place and a purpose, in showing up to a funeral in runners and yoga pants, covered in dirt and no one blinked.
They didn't have the right.
They couldn't tell her not to do her job.
Not that she'd ask for a day off. Not from them.
It was all their fault he...
She was not blinking harder. She was not anxiously pulling at the long black ribbon dangling over her shoulder. Her foot was not tapping on the ground restlessly

But what shocked Jia were the matching puncture wounds on both forearms, just below the inside of her elbows. Two sets of identical scars from vampire fangs. She set down the beers on the chair to her right and then took the older woman's arms in her hands, tracing the scars with her fingers delicately

Multi-tasking is the only way I can relax. I can knit with subtitles, but last night there was this whole "sleeves"-issue and that required focus.
BITCHFACE COUPLE INDEED!

Hang in there; I look forward to your Dawn meta.

More Dawn-meta is up and there (should) be 3.2 up tonight! If I can make it through the rest of this work day without losing all my energy.
((hugs))
