Your grip on these characters and their existential struggles speaks to me. Elena is a life ruiner, basically.
this is so painful and true (at least definitely for Elena? Not certain about Caroline/Tyler.) Yeah - I'm a terrible Tyler-is-meh person - but I figured that after several decades, the possibility of Care/Ty becoming the same sort of fairy-tale that St/Elena is ... is REALLY high. Really, really high.
You even made Caroline/Klaus work for me here, which is honestly awesome because I loathe them. So, thank you!
