Sigh. See, I really liked Stefan's arc this season, up until this point, because I felt like it was all about "HEY! check out these glaring character flaws we planted from way back in the pilot and tricked y'all into ignoring!" Except now I'm more than a little worried that they'll wuss out and go back to ignoring it.

Seriously. It was so heavy-handed and clumsy, I kind of hope it's a signpost that they're trolling us.
Can haz dark!Bonnie next season? It would be so AWESOME! Bonnie really needs to get out from under the "I help people" - girl needz some of her own time.
Agreed! I don't even necessarily dark!Bonnie, so much as "Bonnie gets to come to terms with the way her witch-morality is not going to fit into dark/light human morality."

I tend to almost nearly ignore Stefan, but thinking back - yes. This season was good for him. Until that speech in 3.20 about how THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND HIS LOVE FOR ELENA. Geez, guy. You've grown so much! We're really doing this, again???

/nods - this would suit me just fine. This season was all about dark!Elena and her coming to terms with herself, it would be fantastic if Bonnie had something similar next season.
