JANUARY ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!!
I'M BACK AND THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL!
IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!!! GO FORTH AND SIGN UP!!!
Reminder of the rules::
+ Minimum 5k of fic for the challenge (does not need to be one fic, this can be a collection of smaller ones totalling 5k)
+ 1k of fic for the monthly challenges (note: you don’t need to be signed up for the year to do these, and they can count towards your goal). These are non-compulsory.
+ A femslash ship must be the main focus
+ Any fandom goes
+ OFCs + Crossover pairs a-okay
+ Can be original or fic works
Basically it's just a year-long celebration of femslash! Which is more delightful than anything else in the world, imo. ;)
multi_genfic has a poll up for January - slash - the future of the community because I am eager as hell to get the ball rolling again. This comm was 10/10 my favorite thing about 2016 and hope that my personal hiatus didn't drive any of you away!
buffy_genfic also has a poll up because quite frankly, it wasn't a positive experience for me running that comm and I'd like to pass the puck to someone else. If you liked the community and don't want it to die - or more specifically, think that I was the wrong mod for it (which is the impression that I get) and want to see it in someone else's hands (or your own) - PLEASE go vote in the poll because otherwise it's going to die.

((a personal aside: I know I've missed a lot the past couple of months and I *desperately* want to have the energy to go back and catch up on everything I've missed, but the idea of doing that fills me up with like HUGE amounts of anxiety. so let's just start over. here we are: it's 2016 and I'm back and ilu and I'm sorry about the disappearing act))
