Just a quick reminder of all the fun femslash-y things that are happening right now!
Jossverse Femlash Mini Monthly Exchange

Firstly,
femslash_minis for the remainder of February is NIKKI "BAMF" WOOD. Which is just so exciting. And seeing as that February is also Black History Month in the States, incredibly wonderful to see some love for one of the Jossverse's WOC. Sign-ups last until the 13th and stories aren't due until the 28th - so go get prompting! It's a really small and lovely community and fics are a minimum of 500 words, which is pretty doable in two weeks!
(I highly encourage everyone looking for something to write or do this month to seek out, write, create, for fandom's beautiful WOC and if that's femslashy or het or gen or whatever, let's make this the February where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.)
tumblr's
femslash revolution is doing weekly representation challenges for the month of February. Since the site is concerned with femslash all year long - they are taking the month of February to encourage for more widespread representation within the femslash niche.
This week's theme is disabilities. From the post:
We want you to explore, encourage and create F/F works including at least one woman of who has a physical, sensory, intellectual, learning or psychological disability or illness and/or is neurodivergent. This includes both canonical women with disabilities and characters who have been re-interpreted as disabled within a fanwork.
This is such a great project and I highly encourage everyone to at least go peek at the list that fem-revolution has put together of fic that hits on this theme to read, kudo, or comment this week. Writers need readers! So if you don't have time right now to write anything - or you aren't a writer in general - please please please go out and give some femslash writers some love and pom-pom waving. We always appreciate it.

This month-long commentathon is still going strong and more participants are obviously always encouraged and wanted!!!
Check out the lovely fills, too! Everything coming out of this ficathon is gorgeous and happy.
FEBRUARY, GUYS!
HAS A MONTH EVER BEEN SO BEAUTIFUL?
That's all for me today! I promise to respond to comments as soon as I catch a break! This week has been hectic and in five minutes I'll officially be behind on my own personal fem-february meme (
which still has open slots if you want to prompt something), but also in desperate need of sleep so for tonight I'm choosing sleep over writing and promise to play catch-up tomorrow!
