First of all, *o-[iowpuibouavgiysf yhwufhisvycdafxyguhijweokasr8fbnm wqwtyehuidjsainbf hk* THIS FIC EXISTS OMFG

They don’t talk like angels and they fuck like monsters.

Because they are girls.

And girls aren’t just the pretty pictures walking down the sidewalk for you to gawk at over your cracked spectacles. these are the lyrics to a song that has a broken melody and is played on a broken piano and is the worst thing a siren has ever sung. this is red lipstick and the broken spike of a stiletto and i want to carve it into my bones so they remember that half the viking warriors were women, long after the battles have died out. I am very gay and supremely powerful ( ... )

This story was absolutely brilliant!
I love the lyrical quality you bring to your writing, the angst and emotion you thrust upon your characters.

Well done.

Thank you!!!
haha - I like to think that the angst and emotion is already there and I'm just exposing it, but I love this comment so much!

Thanks again. You are such a delight. Thank you for your comments.

UGHHH LJ EATS THINGS I WRITE.

THIS THIS THIS THIS. I'M SO HAPPY. YOU WROTS SUCH WONDERFUL THINGS AND DID SUCH WONDERFUL THINGS WITH THIS PROMPT. I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT.

I love the descriptions of them through out the story and how they look on the outside and who they are on the inside and how easily the two get confused. I love that they don't count the days because they haven't aged in far too long and counting days is just another reminder. And Dawn is a professor and she weilds her power over the rest of the staff with a smile and Caroline is there smiling with her. And how she's hundreds of years older now but she still wears her hair in bouncing curls and high heels and how they both fight like the age they should be if there bodies were telling the truth.

AND THIS.

They both have delicate silver scars in places you won’t think to look. They aren’t etched on their hearts the way pretty girls are supposed to make scars. They’re buried deep in their skin - right there for the world to see if it would only look ( ... )

I'M SO GLAD AND HAPPY AND YAY! And I'm sorry for being awful at comments right now #worst

I love all of it and I didn't mean for it to end up this way, but I love them being a little bit eternal (maybe).

As for the narrator, it took me a couple of reads, but I'm thinking that its Amy writng the story about impossible girls who are living their lives and its the Tardis talking, narrating it all.
Oh! I hadn't thought to include the Tardis. The way it worked in my head was that it was Dawn kind of like an editor of Amy's work? Like Dawn has read all the stories that Amy has written and she's sort of editing/telling them back to us.

And as killing_kurare says - it could all either be true or just Amy's imagination - or just Dawn's projection of Amy's imagination. They are either ancient or young or somewhere in-between and all the 'versions' of them are either true or Amy's construction.

Holy sh*t, that was brilliant! I have no idea how you came up with this story, for it is so surreal somehow, but it is amazing.
I LOVE the ending, and I love these little doubts you spray like if this is just a written story etc.
Awesome!
You really swept me off my feet with this :D

haha Thank you!?

like if this is just a written story
*nods* if you see the comment above ^^ yes, there should never really be a clear moment where what is real and what is written separate.

Thanks so much! I'm so pleased you liked it!

This is exceptional.

One might even say "defining".

Beautiful and painful and so very true to these characters.

I bow,

I just revisited this from my rec tab.

It is still brilliant and throbbing with pain and life.
