I can't - I don't know what to do with ANY of this, how is this brilliance possible? Jesus, all the ways I've always felt Dru and Buffy to be parallels of one another from School Hard onward ("I can't see her...it's dark where she is") is right here in this fic - Drusilla the madwoman who enters the story one episode after WSWB and buffy's first display of PTSD.

And this fic is sheer poetry. How do you do such things?

I love what Dracula said about Buffy's power - about the darkness of being a Slayer. And I also like the idea that if Buffy = darkness, then maybe for Drusilla, that would mean stillness, a silence. That being near Buffy would still her inner demons in a way. Just as she takes up the role of playing Buffy's personal inner demon personified.

Also everyone should ship this.

And this fic is sheer poetry. How do you do such things?
I don't believe in prose. Which is such a shame, because it means that I could never be a Hobbit.

Ah, the Dru/Buffy fic is gorgeous. I love rich imaginary and scents and tastes (I also try to describe sensory feelings in my fics so I really love this style) Plus you make Dru/Buffy believable by describing the sensuality of them together. In many ways Dru is the negative of Buffy, her mirror, just like Spike is but in a totally different way.

Wow. So much ideas right now. I feel so inspired by your story.

EEEE. This is lovely! I loooove the idea of Dru instead of Spike falling for Buffy, of circling around her and reflecting Buffy back to herself. I love all the physical details, of taste and smell (I am such a sucker for descriptions of smell). Rotting orchids, such a perfect image to connect with Dru!

Oh my goodness ... I just read Buffy/Dru, and ... omg!!!
Already the way you start out, with the flowers and the smell, it is so atmospheric, and then the way you compare their skins and the taste/smell, gosh, I'm swooning. It is just soooo perfect!
And oh, the conversation they have!!! It is sooooo perfectly IC!
I'm totally in awe, you did such a great job on these characters!
