So my February Femslash meme is not forgotten - it's just on hold as I deal with the semester ending (#sobs), getting ready to fly home, and get semi-substantial work done on my thesis*.

This was one of two Allison Argent icons I made for this challenge - but the other (below) uses the same quote as the one in the Dawn icon I decided to submit.
I voted for that one! Oh so gorgeous- and I didn't know who the character or fandom was.Love the crop and the facial expression, the "waterstains" on the surface, and mixing different fonts and font colors? That's my crack, baby.
(Which makes me wonder if I'm at a loss when I'm voting on pure aesthetic appeal with fandoms I don't know? Whereas with btvs icons there's usually some memory and thus emotional connection - but there really isn't a right or wrong with this so there it is.)
I already said this to you elsewhere but Michelle looks just like Tara in Buffy's Restless dream here and I LOVE THAT to the unth degree. They remind me of each other and it reminds me of your blurring the lines series and I just have SO MUCH LOVE for my girls utterly fucking flawless:

Since the challenge is supposed to be all anon, I figured it'd be too much of a give away to use the same quote in two different icons?
If anything I tend to assume that people will try really hard not to submit two with the same quote, so it would probably throw me off. So I wouldn't worry. If I'm able to "identify" anyone (and I'm new enough to these things that I generally can't) I'm going by the formalistic qualities anyway, not the quote by itself.
